Originally from Canada, Desert Highland Discs host Laura Bruce has spent the last dozen years in the British Isles. In addition to developing and hosting her new programme for North Highland Radio, Laura is the director of Inverness-based communications firm Bruce Public Relations Ltd. In her free time Laura enjoys travel, the cinema, bicycle touring, mid-century modernist design, public speaking, motorsports and sea kayaking.
